She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferrel Whitt and Evelyn H. Whitt; her husband James Dearmont Dodson; her son Willie Dearmont Dodson; and her siblings, Tommy Whitt, Terry Whitt, Anthony Whitt and Sherry Denise Whitt.
She is survived by: her children, Dreama Evelyn Thompson (Troy) of Florida, Diana Marie Ortega (Aldwin) of Winchester and Patricia Dawn Dodson of Winchester; and her brothers, Allen Whitt of Winchester and Randal Whitt of Winchester. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grand children.
