She was predeceased by : her parents, Gabor Zavory and Susan Kiss Zavory; her husband James W. Hastings, Sr.; her daughter Susan Britto; her grandson Matthew; and her siblings, Gabor, Joseph, Albert, Elizabeth, Helen and Dorothy.

She is survived by : her sons, Jim Hastings, Jr. (Cheryl) and Mark Hastings (Jeanne); her grandchildren, Michelle Garman, Jenna Eisen and Kevin Hastings; her great grandchildren, Abigail Garman, Paige Garman, Finley Hastings and Charlotte Hastings; and her sister Marie.
