With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jay Ledane of Inwood, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2026 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Allan LeDane and Virginia Brown LeFevre LeDane; his wife Donna Gail Stotler LeDane; and his siblings, Allan Brown LeDane, Paul Frederic LeDane and Julia Henshaw LeDane Hartman.
He is survived by: his children, Jay David LeDane, Tommy Weatherholtz, Jr. (Julie), Amy Lightner Jones and Brookie LeDane Price (Glen); and his grandchildren, Amanda Vance-Giangola (John), Alyssa Hurst, Jordan Brill, Alayna Herring (Raymond) and Madison Weatherholtz. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Berkeley Chapel of Brown Funeral Homes (287 Arden Nollville Rd, Inwood, WV 25428).
