With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jena Lea McDonald of Inwood, West Virginia, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Floyd Edmond; and her sister Edwina McGowen. She is survived by : her husband Barry McDonald; her sister Tamera McBride Lewis (Jake Lewis); her sisters-in-law, Brenda (Carl Pruett), Bonnie McDonald and Barb Frankenberry (Bob); her mother-in-law Peggy McDonald; her stepchildren, Brooke Shelton (Jeff) and Jamie McDonald; her grandsons, Brandon, Colton Shelton, Xander and Ezra McDonald; her nieces and nephews, Jody Bennett, Dennis Carmickle, Mary (Patrick Thompson), Jan (James Chancy), Johnathan Pruett, Ian McDonald, Haley Thompson (David) and Ryan (Gretchen Frankenberry); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Baylee, Riley, Piper, Anakin, Elianna, Emma Carmickle, Joshua, Benjamin Thompson, Regan, Conner Chancy, Julia, Thatcher Frankenberry and Lily Thompson.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Berkeley Chapel of Brown Funeral Home (287 Arden Nollville Rd, Inwood, WV 25428).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or to the Berkeley County Humane Society, 554 Charles Town Rd, Martinsburg, WV 25405.
