She was predeceased by: her husband Lee Roy Strickler, Jr.; her grandson Trevor; and her parents-in-law, Lee Roy Strickler, Sr. and Hilda Strickler. She is survived by: her parents, James Otis Carter, Sr. and Phyllis Margaret Carter; her grandchildren, Chloe, Khyra and Zayne; her brothers, James Carter, Jr. (Roxanne) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Thomas Carter (Rose) of Martinsburg, WV; her aunts, Shirley Schooley, Sandra Carter and Margie Brooks; her stepmother-in-law Helen Strickler; and her close friend Candy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
