He was predeceased by: his parents, John George and Mary Ritchie Roberts Freeland; his sisters, Joann Parker (Roger) and Mary Sue Michael; his parents-in-law, Jason and Joy Combs; and his great grandchild Desiree Branson.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Combs Freeland; his daughters, Terri Langley (Alan), Tammi Childs, Tracy Bowers (Randy Trenary) and Tia Riner (Tom); and his grandchildren, Jason Fream (Susan), Kelly Branson (Bruno), Justin Childs (Lisa), Meghan Beckwith, Brian Bowers (Tara), Beth Anderson (Kyle), Kyle Umphrey (Jackie), Diondra Langley, Jeff Langley (Laurn), Megan Langley (Jeremy) and Jake Riner (Airaka). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the South Berkeley Chapel (287 Arden Nollville Rd, Inwood, WV 25428). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the South Berkeley Chapel of Brown Funeral Home (287 Arden Nollville Rd, Inwood, WV 25428).
