He is survived by: his wife Tammy Lynn Compton (Cline); his sons, Darin Compton (Lisa) of Isaban, WV and Brad Compton (Ashley) of Baisden, WV; his grandchildren, Haley Mullins (Richard) of Ragland, WV, Summer Robinette (Aaron) of Shady Woods, WV, Lexi Compton of Baisden, WV and Noah Compton of Baisden, WV; his great grandchildren, Kace Allen Mullins and Luke Ryker Robinette; and his siblings, Barbara Lester of Isaban, WV, Ella Blevins (Lonnie) of Welch, WV, Mary Asbury of Hurley, VA, Amanda Thomas (Mac), James Compton (Helen) of Isaban, WV, Joe Compton (Linda) of Isaban, WV and Randy Compton (Lesa) of Baisden, WV.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.
