He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard VanHorn and Mildred Runyon VanHorn; and his brother Bradford VanHorn. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert "Bob" VanHorn (Sandy) of Lost Creek and Sharon Willie (Mike) of Lost Creek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
