With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Emma Michaels of Jane Lew, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Emma left this world on September 14, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Emma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Emma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Tenney and Estalene Kelley Tenney; her husband Larry Reese Michaels; and her siblings, Kenneth Carl Tenney and Kietha Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Joseph Collins of Buckhannon and Cassandra Dawn Ayers (Russell) of Clarksburg; her grandchildren, Clarissa Arbogast, Joey Collins, Erin Huffman, Aiden Ayers and Jonathan Ayers; and her sister Erma Hanline (Phillip) of French Creek.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elbon Cemetery (3810 Kedron Rd, Buckhannon, WV 26201).
