With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Wesley Morgan of Jane Lew, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Wesley leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Morgan and Louise Kelley Morgan; and his son Nicholas "Nick" Morgan of Morgantown. He is survived by: his wife Megan Ruth Cupp of Jane Lew; his sister-in-law Beth Post of Buckhannon; his niece Ann Street (Steve) of Masontown; his great-niece Sarah Forman (Nathan) of Masontown; his great-nephew Steven Street (Maci Cayton) of Masontown; Liam, Landon Forman and Jozy Forman.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 28105 or Wounded Warrior Project at PO BOX 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
