He was predeceased by: his mother Icie Hart Walker; his wife Betty Merle Walker; and his siblings, Arnold "Red" Walker, John P. Walker, Theresa Altman, Jimmy Walker and Janice Walker.

He is survived by: his father Harry Andrew Walker; his children, Malinda Halim (Yasir) of Altoona and David Walker (Amy) of Volga; his grandchildren, Christopher Walker, Marissa Walker, Alexis Larabee Rogers, Lydia Flickenger, Stephen Chilcote and Ariell Chilcote; his great grandchild Olivia Walker; Jeanna Renzelli. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
