It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Mitchell Jr. of Jane Lew, West Virginia, who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Raymond leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Letha (Hawley) and Susan Jane Mitchell (Pitsenbarger); and his brothers, Charles Alton and Thomas Jerry Mitchell. He is survived by: his son Brian Curtis Mitchell (April) of Jane Lew, WV; his sister Candy Reiver (Gene) of Hemet, CA; and his grandchildren, Austin and Brooke.
