She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Tompkins and Reva Tompkins; her husband Gordon Ray Lane Sr. of Monclo; her siblings, James Earl, Joe Robert, Earnestine Curry and Charlene Spencer; and her grandchildren, Rachel Barker and Gerald Todd II.
She is survived by: her siblings, Harry Ray, Gregory Blair Tompkins of San Diego, CA and Betty (Joe Lane) of Ottawa, WV; and her children, Tamra (Thomas Crisp), Gordon Ray (Kay) of Six Mile, WV, Gerald Todd (Regina) of Jeffrey, WV, Debra Barker (Steven) of Clothier, WV and Arnold (Julie) of Chapmanville, WV. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Grandson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Monclo Freewill Baptist Church (1331 Monclo Hollow Rd, Sharples, WV 25183). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
