It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lee Horne of Jolo, West Virginia, who passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clyde (Jim) and Etta McCoy Horne; and his siblings, Eunice Kindall of Whitewood, Inice, Earl Dean, Keith Horne of Huntington, Raymond and James Clyde Horne Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Horne of Raysal; his sisters, Hope Wade (Sherman) of Princeton and Gwendolyn; his sister-in-law June Wimmer (Virgina) of Whitewood; his children, Gary Lee Horne II of Jolo, David Baker (Ann) of Cedar Bluff and Sherry (Ricky Honaker) of Slate Creek, Virginia.; his grandchildren, David Chirstopher, Brittani Kerns, Adriana Baker, Kayla Seabolt, Sheila Brown, Victoria Keene, Isabella Richey, Ian Cole Horne and Collin Lee Horne; and his friends, Wayne, Shirley Kennedy of Beartown, MacArthur Hunt of Bullcreek and Ricky Proffitt of Summer Shade, Kentucky.. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
