It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Gail Davis of Jolo, West Virginia, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Muncy and Ida Payne Muncy; and her sisters, Ruby Muncy, Lurena Honaker, Johnnie Mae Rose, Clara Stout and Betty Mitchell.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Gary Davis of Jolo, WV; her daughters, Jennifer Keen (Jarrett) of Pleasant Garden, NC and Christal Hale of Ramseur, NC; her stepchildren, Jim Davis (Brandi) of Stephenson, VA and Kimberly Hatcher (Todd) of Blountville, TN; her sister Ruth Fowler of Dallas, GA.; her grandchildren, Tosha Warren (Joe), Tiffany Jones (Cole), Whitley Hale, Katelyn Byrd (Jesse), Tatum Hatcher, Holston Hatcher, Madison Davis and Colton Davis; and her great grandchildren, Reed Stewart, Hayden, Grayson Warren, Ezra Byrd, Chase, Ella and Colton Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Family Worship Center (12645 Marshall Hwy, Jolo, WV 24850). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
