He is survived by : his significant other Betty Dotson; his daughter Kim Mayberry (Timmy); his siblings, Gary Dotson (Gloria) and Susie; his great grandchildren, Jacob Clay of Florida, Hayley Clay of Julian, Ava Allen of Columbus and Calvin Allen of Columbus, OH; and his nephews, Kevin Dotson, Mike Dotson, Tony Dotson and Patrick Dotson.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Handley Funeral Home (439 Phipps Ave, Danville, WV 25053). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
