It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann (Price) Thompson of Junior, West Virginia, who passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Keith and Margaret Phillips Price; her former husband James Arthur Thompson Sr.; her daughter Margaret Jean Mullenex Pharis; and her great grandchild Jasmine Dawn Fortney.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Mullenex Jr. (Stacey), Loretta Thompson Simmons (Mark) of Valley Head, WV and Brian Thompson of Belington, WV.; her stepchildren, Randall Thompson (Sylvia), Nancy Thompson Garton and Anthony Thompson of Arkansas; her siblings, George Price of Junior, WV and Elizabeth Joan Allen of Belington, WV.; her grandchildren, Tamara Fortney, Darryl Foster, Arcavian Fortney, Angel Mullenex, Eric Ashley Sr., Donnie Mullenex (Talia), James Mullenex of Charles, Pharis Jr. and Tasha Hartley; and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Stella Fortney, Bella, Hudson Foster, Eric III, Emmerie Ashley and Nicole Mullenex. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and a whole host of friends.
