He was predeceased by: his parents, Esland "Zeke" Stepp and Maxine Stepp (Cline); his brothers, Dennis Stepp and Gary Stepp; his nephew Josh Riffe; and his grandparents, Maude (Hatfield), Elias Stepp, Allie (Hatfield) and Ott Cline.

He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Stepp (Brenda Hatfield) of Justice, WV, Tyrone Stepp (Lynn) of Varney, WV, Chris Hurst of Australia and Brenda Stepp of Huntington, WV; and his cousin Katrina Brown. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Justice Memorial Gardens.
