He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Lee Hissam and Arnie Light Hissam; his siblings, Okey Doyle Hissam and Leona Underwood; and his siblings-in-law, Arnold Underwood, Amal Zickefoose and Pat Hissam.
He is survived by: his wife Adrienne Lake; his children, Kevin Wayne Hissam (Tracey) of Kanawha Head, Darin Kent Hissam of Buckhannon and Kelly Renee Donato (Mike) of Buckhannon; his grandchildren, Casey Smith, Kristyn Hissam, Kaleb Hissam, Charlie Donato and Anthony Donato; his siblings, Roy Hissam (Ruth) of Rock Cave, Darrell Hissam of Buckhannon, Dannie Hissam (Louise) of Bridgeport, Garnieta Gay Baxa (Frank) of Buckhannon, Janice Nahidian (Bahram) of Chantilly, VA and Shirley Zickefoose of Buckhannon; and his sister-in-law Anna Lee Hissam of Buckhannon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
