Roger Dale Bowles Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Bowles Sr. of Kearneysville, West Virginia, who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wamon Bowles and Emma Mae Kirk Bowles; his siblings, Billy, Danny, Charlie, William, James, Louise Bowers and Martha Simons; and his grandson Corey Bowles.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy (Stephanie Bowles), Gary (Heather Bowles) and Roger Bowles, Jr.; his grandchildren, Morgan (Jaden Fritts), Riley (Dylan Barger) and Austin Bowles (Shannon Stitley); his great grandchild Harlynn Bowles; and his siblings, Walter Bowles and Loretta Bowles. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home (310 S Fairfax Blvd, Ranson, WV 25438). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Roger's name to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
