He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Dianne Siders Ray; his parents, Della Shamblin Ray Siders of Romance, WV and Enose Franklin Siders; and his siblings, Westal, Philip David Ray, Patricia Ray and Lorlie Ray Cobb.
He is survived by: his son Steve Wilson Ray II; his daughter-in-law Valerie Gail Pauley Ray; his great grandchild Logan Isaac Ray; and his sisters, Shirley Siders Tignor (Mike Tignor) and Tammy Jo Siders.
