We announce the death of Cindy Lowe (Kenova, West Virginia), who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 80. Cindy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Denton and Clarice Johns Denton; her brothers, David Denton and Doug Denton; her sister-in-law Becky Denton; and her grandson David Scott Lowe.
She is survived by: her husband Pete Lowe; her brother Tom Denton of Zanesville, OH; her children, Scott Lowe (Amy) of Jackson, OH and Kim Ferguson (J. R.) of Grayson, KY; her grandchildren, Emilee Schwendeman (Daniel) of Winchester, KY, Drew Lowe of Lakeland, FL, Zach Creswell of Catlettsburg, KY, Alyssa Estepp of Grayson, KY, Maddie Mercer of Jackson, OH, Ava Mercer of Jackson, OH and Grayson Newsome of Jackson, OH; her great grandchildren, Landon Estepp, Olivia Schwendeman and Sophia Schwendeman; her nieces, Marnie Graley and Jamie Lowe; and her close friend Lucy.
Cindy was active in animal rescue through Advocates Saving Adoptable Pets and in lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to them at [email protected].
