Deborah Jean May Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2025, Deborah Jean May of Kenova, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Deborah farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Deborah is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cullie Williamson and Minerva Ratcliff Williamson; her son Brad; and her brother Roger Williamson. She is survived by: her significant other John May; her son Jason; her siblings, Geneva George (Joe) of Huntington, Sheri Brewer (Steve) of Crum and Larry Williamson (Jan) of Alabama; her sister-in-law Ada Williamson of Crum; and her uncle James Williamson (Mary) of Kenova. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A reception was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (1911 WV-75, Kenova, WV 25530).
