He was predeceased by: his father Ramon Ray Payton; his grandparents, Dallas, Halcy Payton, Scott and Reba Hatten; his aunt Roberta Nimmo; and his uncles, Howard Hatten, Teddy Wallace and Michael Hassie.
He is survived by: his mother Alice Faye Payton (Hatten); his siblings, Randy, Matthew, Nikki and Melissa; his aunts, Teresa Horn (Willard) of Kenova, Rita Wallace of Culloden, W. Va and Clara Hassie of Milton; and his uncle Mike Nimmo of Huntington.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dock's Creek Cemetery.
