He is survived by: his wife Rhoda Ward Smith; his children, Shaelyn Ferguson, Kara Smith and Joshua Smith; his grandchildren, Jalayah Sadler, Aleesia Norwood and Kashton Smith; his father Arthur Vinson Smith; and his siblings, Jennifer Brannock and Matthew Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
