He is survived by: his significant other Joy Louise Adkins; his children, Rebecca Irvin (Richard), Rhonda Smith (Darren), Melinda Cremeans (Todd) and Dava Adkins; his son-in-law Jeremiah Wilcox; his brother Delbert Adkins; his nephew Gary Slayton (Beverly); and his daughter Tabitha Raines. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
