He was predeceased by : his parents, Adrian Rayburn Henson and Fred Clayton Henson; his siblings, Mary Ann Henson Lowe, Paul Henson, Fred Henson and James Adkins; and his daughter-in-law Rena Henson.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Woolum Henson; his sons, Thomas Henson, Jr. (Crystal Henson) and Michael Allen Henson, Sr. (Angela Wilks); his grandchildren, Rachele Tipton (Ryan Tipton), Sarah, Roy Ward, Madison Henson (Alex Adkins), Aaron Henson, Michael Allen Henson, Jr., William Thomas "Will" Henson and Hannah Henson; his great grandchildren, Abby Henson, Hunter Henson, Thomas Tipton, AJ Adkins, Tucker Ward, Cindy Ward, Gracie Ward and James Ward; his sister Carolyn; his brother-in-law Phil Rakes; and his nieces and nephews, Paul Henson (Anna Henson), Mark Henson, Debbie Varnell, Cathy Lowe Krantz, Barbara Walters and Teresa Brumfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Schneider-Hall Funeral Home (313 Big Branch Rd, Chesapeake, OH 45619). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
