She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Ester Terry Cyrus; her husband Deris Scott; her son Steve Blanton; and her siblings, Mable Staley, Arlene Hall and Johnny Cyrus.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenny Blanton (Deidra) of Ocklawaha, FL, David Blanton (Glenda) of Kenova, WV and Christopher Blanton (Holly) of Barboursville, WV; her grandchildren, Kenny Allen Blanton, Samantha Johnson, Bella Blanton, Melody Blanton and Trey Blanton; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Oden and Harry.
