She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Spurling and Helen Arbutus Spurling (Evans); her husband James R. Brafford; her sister Sandy Spurling; and her great grandchild Caleb Brafford.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen R. Brafford (Penny) of Keyser, Roger A. Brafford (Janet) of Burlington, WV and Ray E. Brafford (Trish) of Burlington; and her sisters, Mary "Midge" Nester of Keyser and Marjorie Dennison of Fort Ashby, WV. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
