He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Ashton Grubbs and Georgia Marion Chapman (Simmons); his brother Lorenze Carlie Grubbs (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Joel Clark and Linda Lou Shepp.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Ann Grubbs (Bill); his children, Jessica L. Miller and Bennett D. Grubbs; his stepchildren, Tammy Snedeker (John) and David Martin (Suzanne); his siblings, Vernon Lee Grubbs (Rita) of New Creek and Joretta Ruth Clark of Amelia Island, FL; his grandchildren, Jacob Miller (Stacey), Josie Presutti (Dion Fasce'), Mackaully Parada (Juan), Isabella Grubbs, India Grubbs and Ashton McKenzie; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney, Haley, Luke and Streett Martin; and his great grandchildren, Alani, Lincoln Miller, Eluna, Ezaiah Fasce' and Benjamin Parada. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
