It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Norma Jean Matthaei of Keyser, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 83, on April 14, 2024. She was predeceased by : her children, Christa Herrell and Fred Matthaei; her grandchildren, Robby and Jill; and her sister Carolyn Beeman.

She is survived by : her children, Glenn "Billy" William Herrell, Jr. (Joni), Pamela Hooper and Jeffery Matthaei (Jessica); her grandchildren, Shannon, Amber, Stephanie, Brandy, Daniel, Lily and Jeffery Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Khloe, Bob Bob, Hunter and Timothy Jr. "TJ". She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cherished relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home ~ Keyser Chapel (85 S Main St, Keyser, WV 26726). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
