He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Parks and Pearl Parks (Wolfe); and his sisters, Beatrice Haywood and Noami Barr. He is survived by: his wife Rose Ella Parks (Landon); his children, David Parks (Earlene), Diane Hoover (late Dale Hoover), Deborah Gambini (David) and Daniel Parks (Ruda); his grandchildren, Anita Meyer, Joshua Parks, Aaron Parks, Aimee Milla, Mattea Gambini, Ezra Parks and Edan Parks; his stepgreat-grandsons, Luke Hoover and Nicholas Hoover; and his brother Elwood Parks (Rebecca) of Swanton, MD. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Markwood Funeral Home (111 S Mineral St, Keyser, WV 26726). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at the Potomac Memorial Gardens (597 Cemetery Rd, Keyser, WV 26726).
