He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Brode and Evelyn Mae Brode (Moore); and his brothers, Howard, William, Allan and Johnny Brode.
He is survived by: his wife Sadie J. Brode (Meagher); his sons, Scott Brode (Vonda) of Deland, FL and Todd Brode (Andrea) of Rawlings; his grandchildren, Emily Hurt (Will) and Adam Brode; and his siblings, Paul Brode of Lonaconing and Thelma Goebel of Beltsville, MD.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Potomac Memorial Gardens (597 Cemetery Rd, Keyser, WV 26726).
