Susan Ann left this world on June 21, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Vance VanMeter and Delores Lorraine VanMeter Ketterman (Lambert); her stepfather Lewis Ketterman; her siblings, Larry VanMeter, Russell VanMeter and Sandra Liller; her sister-in-law Barbara VanMeter; and her nephew Andy VanMeter.
She is survived by: her husband Maurice M. "Jake" Ellifritz; her children, Sean M. Ellifritz (Heather) of Keyser, Keri Bothwell, Randy of Antioch, WV and Jake C. Ellifritz of Richmond, KY; her grandchildren, Courtney Ellifritz (Steven Pfaff), Maxwell Ellifritz, Sierra Bothwell, Makayla Ellifritz and Peyton Ellifritz; her brothers, Melvin "Butch" VanMeter of Rawlings, MD and Shannon VanMeter (Linda) of Flintstone, MD; her siblings-in-law, Jim Ellifritz (Joy) of Keyser, Judy Haywood of LaVale, MD, Sondra VanMeter of Rawlings and Rita VanMeter of Rawlings; and also Matraca Shirley of Greensburg, PA.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home & Crematory (85 S Main St, Keyser, WV 26726). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
