We bid farewell to Virginia Mae Shank of Keyser, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 100. Virginia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Blamer, Sr. and Irene Blamer (Harvey); her former husband Pfc Walter L. Byford; her grandson Randall A. Biser; her great grandchild Charles T. Shank; and her brothers, Charles E. Blamer, Jr. and Fred H. Blamer.
She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Barbara Biser (Byford), Lindy Shank (Carol), Todd Shank and Jerry Shank (Terri); her grandchildren, Rick (Rhonda), Jennifer, Derek (Samantha), Ryan, Kyle (Brittany), Madison, Catina and CJ (Jaci); her great grandchildren, Dustin (Jessica), Allison, Stella, Emma, Jade, Avery, Quinn and River; and her great great grandchildren, Madison and Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary United Methodist Church (233 S Mineral St, Keyser, WV 26726). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Potomac Memorial Gardens (597 Cemetery Rd, Keyser, WV 26726).
