He is survived by: his son Walter G. Kephart III (Kylie Duckworth); his grandchildren, Maddix Duckworth of Keyser, Andrew J. Gillman of Sumter, SC and Jeremy A. Meek of Keyser; his siblings, Gale Kephart (Susan) of Castle Rock, CO, Rox Robertson (Charlie) of Keyser, Randy Kephart (Anna) of Keyser, John Kephart (Deb) of Westernport and Jeff Kephart (Lana) of Cross, WV.; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Simpson of Ruther Glen, VA and Kim Simpson (Rhonda) of Keyser. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel (85 S Main St, Keyser, WV 26726). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
