He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Carter of New York; and his siblings, Joseph Groom (Stephanie) of Kimberly, WV, Kenneth Groom (Patrice) of Dunbar, WV, Charles Groom (Mary) of Kimberly, WV, Patrick Groom of Kimberly, WV, Denise Mitchell, Barbara Brockman and Bonita Johnson of Kimberly, WV.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
