It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Eugene Smith of Kincaid, West Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Smith and Kathleen Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Blevins; his son-in-law Jason Blevins of Beckley; and his siblings, Evelyn Hizer of Oak Hill, Tilmon Smith of Oak Hill, Violet Hatfield (Alvin) of Brier Creek and Jesse Smith of Frankfort, KY..
