He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Joseph and Theadora Anne Davis Glendenning; his brother Michael L. Glendenning; and his nephew Steven Glendenning. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia M. Speelman Glendenning; his adoptive son Craig Glendenning of Fairmont; his sister Susan (Robert Ware) of French Creek, WV; his sister-in-law Glenda Glendenning of Kansas; and his sibling's children, Aimie Jones (Aaron) of Bridgeport, Justin Ice (Crystal) of Jane Lew, Jeremy Ice (Susan) of South Carolina, Leanne Fansler (Doug) of Fairmont and Kristy Romino of Fairmont.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ford Funeral Home (201 Columbia St, Fairmont, WV 26554). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
