She was predeceased by : her parents, Dailey Hillery and Florence Hillery (Dunn); her husband Eugene Shaffer; and her siblings, Harold "Buster" Hillery, William "Bill" Hillery, Frankie Hillery, Leona Powell, Louise Hall, Ellen Kelly, Alda Smith and Gloria Shaffer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
