She was predeceased by : her father Neil Lamont Shedd of New Caney, TX; her granddaughter Brianna M. Casteel; her stepfather Homer R. Kerns; her grandmother Juanita E. Layne; and her uncle Henry O. "Butch" Layne.
She is survived by : her mother Helen Ann Kerns of Charleston, WV.; her former life partner Mark D. Casteel of Kingwood; her children, Jason D. Casteel (Stacie Johnson) of Kingwood and Rebecca Goldsborough (Eric) of Kingwood; her grandchildren, Hunter of Kingwood, Mason of Kingwood, Ryder Casteel of Kingwood and Alexis Goldsborough of Kingwood; and her brother Neil L. Shedd.
