It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sanford Pinkard of Kingwood, West Virginia, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sanford Pinkard Sr. and Dorothy Ann Milliman Pinkard; and his brother William Howeth Pinkard. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Ann Bennett; his children, Tom Maxwell of Springfield, OR, Pamela Way (Erik Selliken) of Los Angeles, CA and Mary Athalia Irwin of Port Angeles, WA; his grandson Henry Stuart Irwin; and his brother Chris Pinkard (Rosemary) of West Point, TX..
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Virginia National Cemetery (42 Veterans Memorial Ln, Grafton, WV 26354).
