With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lula Catherine Barnett of Kingwood, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sylvester and Anna Elizabeth Lewis; her husband French Bennett Barnett Sr.; her sons, French Barnett Jr. and Carl Barnett; her grandson William Davis Holyfield; her siblings, Richard Lewis, Bill Lewis, Anna Stewart and Barbara Patterson; and her son-in-law Terry E. Jolliffe.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Barnett (Michele) of Kingwood, Kenneth Barnett of Kingwood, JoAnna Bussey of Kingwood, Lisa Barnett of Kingwood, Hattie Jolliffe of Fairmont and Katherine Holyfield (William) of Fairmont. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-six great grandchildren.
