Lula Catherine Barnett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lula Catherine Barnett of Kingwood, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sylvester and Anna Elizabeth Lewis; her husband French Bennett Barnett Sr.; her sons, French Barnett Jr. and Carl Barnett; her grandson William Davis Holyfield; her siblings, Richard Lewis, Bill Lewis, Anna Stewart and Barbara Patterson; and her son-in-law Terry E. Jolliffe.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Barnett (Michele) of Kingwood, Kenneth Barnett of Kingwood, JoAnna Bussey of Kingwood, Lisa Barnett of Kingwood, Hattie Jolliffe of Fairmont and Katherine Holyfield (William) of Fairmont. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kingwood Funeral Home and Crematory (295 S Price St, Kingwood, WV 26537). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
