He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Lupton and Lucy Lupton (Heare); and his siblings, William Lupton, Maxine Haines, Mary Pracht, Violet Smith and Betty Byrant.
He is survived by: his wife Una Lupton (Haines); his children, Margaret Rog (Marion) of Morgantown, WV, Joyce Bingham of Augusta, WV, Nancy Poland of Kirby, Cinda Bowman (Rod) of Kirby, Karen Hott (Tom) of Augusta, WV, Dannie Lupton (Christine) of Rio, WV, Rick Lupton of Kirby and Freddy Lupton (Glenda) of Moorefield, WV; his grandchildren, Becky Rog, Angela Rog, Anthony Lupton, Jody Abrell (Jimmy), Betty Lupton, Nancy Merson, Tracy Hott (Michael), Renee Pownall (Tom), Corrina Reynolds (Rob), Nikki Campbell (Kylle), Richie Lupton (Tara), James Hott (Joanne), Ashley Lupton and Kim Lupton; and his sister-in-law Edna Haines. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren.
