He is survived by: his wife Violet Deskins Mays of Kistler; his children, Dr. Dennis Mays II (Flora) of Sevierville, TN and Dr. Ambria Mays Martin (Nick) of Cross Lanes; his grandchildren, Kaia and Nakoa Mays of Sevierville, TN; his pet Maisie Martin; his siblings, Debi Robinson of Accoville, Ada Lowe of Accoville, Cora Staten of Robinette, Teresa Belcher (Joe) of Claremont, NC and Bill Mays of Stowe; and his brother-in-law Russell Brown of Gilman Bottom. He is also survived by family members and friends.
