He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Mills and Carolyn Ross Smearman; and his siblings, Patricia Mills, John Mills, Suzy Mills and Mark Smearman.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie Davis Mills; his children, Sandra Brown (William), Salem and Ashley Childers Bridgeport (Joshua); and his grandchildren, Madison (Derek), Abrielle, Beckett, Emily, Samuel and Alexander. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
