He is survived by: his wife Edna Prince McDaniel; his children, James McDaniel, Jeffrey McDaniel (Casey) and Alicia Coalson (Devin); his grandchildren, Alexis and Ember McDaniel; his siblings, Harold McDaniel, Darrell McDaniel (Drema), Bill McDaniel (Ellie), Mary Etta Meadows (Pete), Sandy Wingrove (Wayne) and Patty Fox (Wayne); and his nieces and nephews, Meredith Fox Roy, Michelle Spaulding, Tuffy Meade, Shorty Meade and Ian McDaniel. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
