He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Morton and Gertie Adkins Morton; his wife Geneva Mae Morton; his daughter Joy Brooks; his grandson Steven Morton; and his siblings, Paul, Jim, Arlis, Willard Morton, Nellie Redden, Lillian Pennington and Flora Bell Morton.
He is survived by: his children, April Dawn Morton of Shady Spring, Darlene Morton of Fairdale, Randy Morton of Shady Spring and Ronnie Morton of Mount Hope; and his brother John Morton of Grandview.
