He is survived by: his wife Joyce Tedder Shrewsbury; his children, Cynthia Dorman (Steven) of Princeton, Sonia O'Dell (Pat) of Princeton and Brett Shrewsbury (Diana) of Pinoak; his sisters, Sybil Kirk (James) of Little Rock, AR and Trivless Short of Bluefield; his grandchildren, Amy Rose, Jereme Shrewsbury, Ryan O'Dell and Taylor O'Dell; his great grandchildren, Ariella Lowe and Byron Shrewsbury; and his pet Teena.
