He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Smith Mitts of Lavalette; his children, Sam Mitts (Catherine) of Lavalette, Ed Mitts (Kari) of Cynthiana, KY and Bobbi Mitts of Scott Depot, WV; and his grandchildren, Joshua Mitts (Sara Kate Russell) of Culloden, WV, Paul Mitts, Zoe Mitts of Lavalette, WV, Hannah Mitts and Nate Mitts of Cynthiana, KY..
